Zoo Volunteer Event & Free Family Day

We have a last-minute opportunity for both Service Members and Families to join us at the San Francisco Zoo on Wednesday, September 3rd to spend time with disabled and elderly veterans from our community.

✨ What’s Included:

• Free zoo admission, parking, and rides

• Lunch for all military families

• The chance to volunteer and support our aging veterans

This is a wonderful way for Soldiers to gain a meaningful professional development experience, while also giving back to the community. Families are encouraged to attend—it’s both a day of service and a fun family outing.

I’d love to see our Moffett Military Community show up strong! I’ll be attending with other military spouses, and I hope many of you will join us.

Event Details:

📍 Location: San Francisco Zoo (across from Ocean Beach on the Great Highway)

📅 Date: Wednesday, September 3, 2025

🕘 Time: 0900–1430 (most help needed in the morning; veterans begin leaving around 1400)
