Hi, this is Benny and Vienne—Mountain View High School students and military-affiliated kids—working to turn an idea - CAMP MOFFETT - a Military Kid Summer Camp into something that will directly impact our Bay Area military community.
This is more than a camp—it’s a community-built solution to a real problem - affordable summer camp for our Military Families.
We NEED your support to help make it happen. All Volunteers will run the camp. However, we need funds to purchase supplies, safety equipment, snacks, arts and crafts supplies, etc.

Benny envisioned a summer camp on Moffett Field for military children—a way to give back to the community that has supported him. When he brought the idea to the Bay Area Military Network, we immediately said yes.
Because the need is real.
Military families in the Bay Area face some of the highest childcare costs in the country, with very limited access to traditional base programs, youth sports, and affordable summer options. Many families are left piecing together care—or going without it entirely.
This camp is our solution.
A low-cost, local summer camp designed specifically for military and veteran families—focused on sports, outdoor activities, and connection.
And what makes it even more powerful: it will be entirely volunteer-run, led by Mountain View High School students who are stepping up as camp counselors. These student leaders are giving back while building mentorship, leadership skills, and stronger ties between our military and local communities.
This is more than a camp—it’s a community-built solution to a real problem.
