Government Shutdown Resources

Bay Area Military Network

💬 Government Shutdown & Military Families 💬As our nation faces another government shutdown, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the real impact—not just on service members, but on the families who stand beside them every day.

💔 Delayed paychecks mean tighter budgets.🚫 Base programs like MWR and childcare may pause.😔 The uncertainty weighs heavy on spouses, kids, and our DoD civilian teammates.

Military life already demands resilience—but no family should have to face this kind of stress alone. Remember to check in on one another, share resources, and reach out if you need help.

At Bay Area Military Network, we’re here to support and connect our community through it all. If you or someone you know is struggling, message us—we’ll point you toward resources for emergency relief, childcare, food support, and community connections.

Bay Area Military Network DID NOT create this list and was shared with us.  Please let me know if there are any issues with resources or there are ones we need to add.
