ABOUT THE EVENT: Each year, VFW Post 4103 and the San Francisco Zoo host 250–300 disabled veterans and their volunteers for a free day of connection and fun at the zoo.
WHAT: Join us for a FREE Military Family Day at the San Francisco Zoo! Enjoy a special day out with your family while also volunteering alongside local disabled and elderly veterans.
WHERE: San Francisco Zoo – across from Ocean Beach on the Great Highway.
WHEN: Wednesday, September 3rd | 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM (You don’t need to stay the entire time. Most help is needed in the morning for setup and assisting veterans in wheelchairs. Veterans begin departing around 2:00 PM.)
